Overview

Nexjen Systems, LLC was contracted by a mining company to improve the analysis process on TDR data collected by remote sensors at a mine. The TDR data is used to monitor mines in an effort to predict subsidence events before the occur. Nexjen developed a custom LabVIEW application that allowed the client to instantly analyze and visualize TDR data collected from the remote sensors.

Challenge

The client's current system would take approximately one hour to analyze the data downloaded from remote sensors. Nexjen System needed to design and implement a system that would improve data acquisition time.

Interactive displacement versus time plots from user defined displacement points.
Instant TDR plots from displayed alarm records.
Printable reports containing plots and details and export of data to Auto Cad formatted files.
