RFID Conformance Test System
The RFID Test System is a conformance test and measurement solution for RFID devices, and is the first instrument in the world with an integrated RFID protocol stack and real-time communication capability to formulate, decode and measure RFID signals per all current EPC and ISO protocols. The system is ideal for users who are performing conformance testing of tags and readers. The system also provides a standard platform for comparing reader or tag performance in field evaluations. With the capability of real-time vector RF signal generation and analysis, the system has the capability to generate and analyze RFID signals per all current RFID standards.

Software
LabVIEW API which allows for customized test development to specific requirements.
Photo (initializer hardware-configure hardware-get command data-load command to hardware – send & acquire RF signals – decode signals – spectrum analysis – time waveform analysis – JTFA analysis – close hardware). The software performs 3 tests. The software package includes: LabVIEW Developer Suite, FPGA, Spectral Measurement Toolkit, modulation toolkit, advanced signal processing tools.
Tag and Reader Testing: tag and reader emulation for testing of individual RFID devices.

Pass/Fail Testing with Report Generation: runs a customizable, predefined test sequence which operates the full pass of test case defined by the protocol. A pass/fail indication is given for each case, and detailed test reports are generated.

Hardware
based on National Instruments vector RF Modules, including the 2.7 GHz upconverter, 2.7 GHz downconverter, 3 GHz RF preamplifier, and FPGA based transceiver. The base hardware package includes all of the hardware necessary for basic tag and reader testing or sniffing. Antennas and test assemblies are available as options.
