Zigbee
Zigbee is a wireless network that supports low-cost, low data rate, low-power communication between devices. The IEEE 802.15.4 standard for wireless personal area networks (WPAN) specifies the physical and media access control layers at the 868 MHz and 2.4 GHz unlicensed, international frequency bands.

Software
- Software Features:
- The software toolkit provides a set of individual, reconfigurable VI’s for various compliance tests covering IEEE 802.15.4, which can be integrated into manufacturing process or utilized in development.
- The Zigbee measures EVM, center frequency tolerance, maximum transmit power, receiver sensivity, and related parameters using configuration, acquisition and measurement VIs.
- Tests Performed:
- Transmitter Test: spectrum PSD mask, error vector magnitude, transmit center frequency tolerance, transmit power
- Receiver Test: receiver sensivity, maximum input power, adjacent channel jamming resistance, alternative channel jamming resistance
- Highlights: frequency range (868/915/2450 MHz bands), Data rate (20/40/250 kbps), Chip Rate (300k/600k/2m chips/s), symbol rate (20/40/62.5 ksymbol/s), modulation scheme (BPSK and OQPSK), seamless integration with NI PXI instruments
- Transmitter test configuration: attenuation level, reference level, hardware setting, trigger voltage levels, channel of operation.
- Receiver test configuration: power level, hardware setting, channel of operation, number of packets for transmission.
