Automated Functional Test Systems
Automated Functional Test Systems are designed for volume testing and validation of completed devices and their sub-assemblies. These systems generally utilize TestStand as the executive for test sequencing and test profile configuration. Automated Functional Test Systems are designed to be deployed in production environments and include user profiles for administrator level configuration and production level pass/fail operation. Automated Functional Test Systems delivered by Nexjen Systems also include a LabVIEW layer for detailed, graphical test data analysis and can be linked to an enterprise database.

Data Acquisition & Analysis
Data Acquisition and Analysis Systems are designed to provide test engineers with a high level of detail on the performance of the device under test, and are generally deployed in R&D environments. These systems perform high-speed, real-time data acquisition on multiple performance variables, often with a high channel count, and can include a control component and fixturing in cases where the unit under test is a mechanical device that requires actuation. Nexjen Systems’ Data Acquisition & Analysis Systems include fully customized, LabVIEW graphical user interfaces that allow for detailed analysis of real-time test data.
-
Process Monitoring and Control
Process Monitoring and Control Systems utilize distributed I/O for deterministic control and real-time data acquisition for critical production processes. Nexjen Systems’ customized Process Monitoring and Control software applications include a LabVIEW Real-Time layer which often includes FPGA and PID control, events and alarms. Advanced data visualization is performed at the LabVIEW executive layer, allowing for dependable, consistent operation and a higher level of analysis than is found in traditional process control systems.

Legacy Test System Upgrade
In many cases clients have existing test systems that have worked reliably for years and generate test data that they trust, yet run on obsolete hardware or software platforms that cannot be upgraded to leverage current technology for test data communication, display and analysis. We understand the value of maintaining consistency from one generation of test equipment to the next and have worked with many clients to upgrade or replace their Legacy Test Systems with LabVIEW based systems. We are often able to minimize clients’ new hardware investment by incorporating existing hardware into the new system, and can create a customized software interface that displays test data in an identical manner to the previous system while transitioning to a LabVIEW software platform that will be easily upgradeable in the future.
